Joshua Alabi chairs NDC Election 2020 nat’l campaign team

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has appointed members of its National Campaign team to facilitate its campaign towards the December 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

It appointed Professor Joshua Alabi as the National Campaign Manager, with Alex Segbefia as his deputy.

In the press statement signed by the NDC’s Director of Communication, Kakra Essamuah, the Director of Operations for the campaign is Lt. Col.  Larry Gbevlo-Lartey (Rtd), with James Agyenim Boateng as the Campaign Spokesperson, Mawuena Trebarh and Margaret Ansei as the Deputy Campaign Spokespersons, while Gen. R.S. Blay (Rtd) is the Strategic Advisor to the Campaign Team.

The statement said other members of the team include Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer, Julius Debrah, former Chief of Staff, Kofi Totobi Quakyi, Haruna Iddrisu, Minority Leader, Hudu Yahaya, George Opare Addo, National Youth Organizer, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley and Dr. Valerie Sawyer.

It said the rest are  Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Director of Elections, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Chairman, Ambassador Victor Smith, Joshua Akamba, National Organiser, Dr  Hannah Louisa Bissiw, National Women’s Organiser, Alhaji Mohammed Mamah, National Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Samuel Sarpong and Dr Nana Ama Brown Klutse.

However, the statement said all campaign activities would be under the policy direction of the National Steering Committee (NSC) to be chaired by the National Chairman, Mr Ampofo with the coordination of all aspects of the campaign would be presided over by the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, as stipulated in the party’s constitution.

It said further information on the committee and the campaign structure would be announced later.
