‘I’m poised to transform administrative set-up of NPP’

An aspirant for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has assured members, supporters and sympathisers of the party he is poised to transform administrative set-up of the party to make it more effective and efficient to their needs.

He indicated that the current administrative set-up of the party has not been helpful to the needs of members, supporters and sympathisers hence wrangling, back-biting and witch hunting during internal party elections.

Mr Frimpong, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has declared his intention to contest incumbent General Secretary of the NPP, John Boadu, and said he had worked hard enough to annex the position so as to transform the fortunes of the party by making it attractive to floating and first time voters.

“I have strong administrative and managerial prowess which is evidenced by enormous transformations that has taken place at the Agency under my watch and change in the General Secretary position is necessary to invigorate faithful, well-wishers and sympathisers of the party particularly the youths, floating and first time voters to build bridges and form strong teams to make NPP more appealing to the electorates to turn around our fortunes,” he touted.

According to him, the administrative set-up of the NPP was not working to the satisfaction of members, supporters and sympathisers due to the current set-up which needed reinvigoration, well composed, focused and firm leadership to make NPP more attractive than before with just less than two years to an election to break eight years of political party power.

Mr Frimpong insisted that the current hung Parliament and its adverse impact on government business was as a result of bad leadership which had become worrisome to the party’s sympathisers, faithful, well-wishers and financiers due to current turbulent times which needed new leadership skills towards survival which must hinge on energetic composition with deep disposition.

“I pledge to strengthen the structures of the party, uphold tenets and provisions of constitution of the party when given the nod since I have listened, prayed, consulted widely, assessed myself and I strongly believe I have the desired qualities to deliver NPP from the doldrums to retain power in 2025.

“I have already built an open personality that endears me to the rank and file of the party, I am confident, I have the wherewithal to steer the affairs of the NPP in the right and desired direction for electoral victory in 2024 and beyond,” Mr Frimpong asserted.

Mr Frimpong, a lawyer, an energetic, affable and enthusiastic young man with creative ideas in contemporary party management and leadership is poised to transform the administrative set-up of NPP to make it work again to build trust, confidence, hope and aspirations for Ghanaians.
