The captain of the Ho Tennis Club, James Buta Buama is optimistic that his squad will win the first Holy Trinity Spa Tennis Cup inter-club doubles tournament slated for Sogakope on Saturday.
He gave the assurance when the tournament trophy made a brief stop-over at the Ho Tennis Court last Saturday, on the way to the tournament venue.
The other participating clubs are Army Mess Tennis Club, Accra; Depot Tennis Club, Accra; and UPS Tennis Club, Accra.
The event comes on under the joint sponsorship of the Holy Trinity Spa and Health Farm and Lesico Group, Sogakope, and the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF).
Buama said that the morale in the camp of the Ho squad was high and losing was not an option.
“We are determined to lift the trophy and we are going for it,” he maintained.
The Tournament Director, Mr. Henry Boni Quarshie said that the tournament held bright prospects for high tennis standards.
