HO MCE nominee vows to complete projects

The President’s nominee for the post of Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Divine Richard Komla Bosson, says he will prioritise the completion of infrastructural development projects in the area, when given the nod.

He warned that any unruly contractor who abandons his project site after receiving advanced payments for the contract awarded him would suffer swift and ruthless consequences.

Mr Bosson, 47, who is currently the Volta regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) made the pledge in an interview with the Ghanaian Times in Ho yesterday.

He gave the assurance that he would operate an open-door policy to involve various stakeholders including traditional rulers, religious leaders and the rest of the people to take part in local government decisions.

“We expect our children to be in the classroom during the day and at home at night and not to be doing dangerous business in traffic,” he added.

Apart from that, Mr Bosson observed that there was a growing phenomenon of indiscipline on the roads in general in the municipality and vowed to the address that problem to the fullest degree.

The security service expert said that he would also tap the vast experience of all his predecessors and involve the media actively in his administration to consolidate the welfare of the people of the municipality, and keep them informed about issues affecting them all the time.
