At least 450 people were registered onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for free as part of the Helper’s Arena’s 3rd anniversary.
The Helper’s Arena is the Spintex Branch of the Keeper’s House Chapel International.
Additionally, most people living in and around Community 16 had their COVID-19 vaccinations and benefitted from a health screening during which they had their blood pressure checked and other vitals taken and the needed health care provided.
Similarly assorted food stuffs were distributed to widows and the aged.
Branch pastor of the church, Rev. Ebenezer Hamilton, addressing journalists said the gesture was the church’s way of supporting the community beyond spiritual activities.
She urged the people to be one another’s keeper by showing love for their neighbours.
