Hearts trek to Tamale …to face RTU

After dropping points against Legon Cities in midweek, Accra Hearts of Oak face another tall order tomorrow in Tamale where they lock horns with Real Tamale United (RTU) in a mouthwatering clash.

Why Hearts failed to snatch the maximum points against a struggling and under-strength Legon Cities remains a mystery among their followers and would have to return to winning ways to restore their confidence in the team.

With a numerical advantage for over 40 minutes following an expulsion to a Legon Cities player, Hearts failed to make gains and eventually dropped two points, allowing those under them to narrow the points gap.

But chances of correcting the wrongs would come at a cost as they face another wounded side, RTU at a venue they have turned into a fortress.

Both sides would be boosted by the return of players from the Black Galaxies and would feature the best starting line-ups.

It will be a cracker as the host attempt an upset against the Phobians who appears to be struggling with goal scoring.

For the Tamale fans, it will be a weekend of football fiesta as Tamale City commence action against Kotoku Royals today at the Tamale Stadium.

The Royals are currently struggling but a quick turnaround against GoldStars in midweek seem to have revived the team spirit and would attempt a second consecutive win in enemy territory.

At the Dormaa Park tomorrow, Aduana Stars will hope to extend the lead at the top when they engage Nsoatreman FC.

A match of interest for the fans would be the Accra game between Great Olympics and Dreams FC tomorrow.

The Wonder Club suffered their biggest defeat of the season so far on Thursday when they were beaten 3-0 at the same venue by high-flying Accra Lions.

The loss left the fans furious, putting a lot of pressure on Yaw Preko and his charges who would have to win at all cost to make the fans happy.

Berekum Chelsea will be busy tomorrow when they welcome Bechem United in a clash that will test the visitors’ recent form while Medeama engage Samartex in Tarkwa.

Elsewhere, Legon Cities will  host King Faisal while Asante Kotoko take on Accra Lions FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
