Hearts, Kotoko get kind draws in FA Cup

Defending champions Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have earned a relatively kind draws in the round of 64 stage of the MTN FA Cup competition when the draw was held yesterday.

The Asanteman team drawn second-tier side Asokwa Deportivo in a game they are expected to sail through while rivals Hearts of Oak will make a short trip to Nungua to face Danbort.

Yesterday’s draw witnessed by representatives of some of the clubs will see a few derbies and clash of elite sides.

Karela United FC host former winners Medeama SC in Tarkwa while Legon Cities are billed to face Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Elsewhere, RTU will play Young Zombia; Tamale City FC set for Kintampo FC; Paga Crocodiles will clash with Zuarungu FC; Wa Suntaa FC will slug out with Was Yasin FC; BA United engage Bofoakwa Tano in a regional derby; Unity FC/Berekum Arsenal will face Berekum Chelsea; DC United will encounter Wamanafo Mighty Royals; Kenyase New Dreams FC will come face to face with Eleven Wonders while Kintampo Top Talent play Young Apostles.
