Ghana will renew her sporting rivalry with Nigeria in the finals of the maiden edition of the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations Kumasi 2023.
The Black Princesses of Ghana defeated Burkina Faso 3-1 in the semifinals to set a final against Nigeria, who defeated Benin 3-0 in the other semifinal game.
Top of Group A with six points after defeating Benin and Cote d’Ivoire at the group stage, Nigeria also toppled Burkina Faso, Niger and Togo to finish on top of Group A to set up a semifinal clash against Burkina Faso and Benin respectively.
The Final will take place on Saturday, June 3, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. – GFA
