Dr Boadu indicated that apart from dealing with the legacy projects, all outstanding debt from 2013 to 2019 had been cleared.

However, he said due to the difficulties of 2020, the Fund still owed contractors from September of that year till date.

He said a number of initiatives had been instituted since 2017 to improve the efficiency and effective operations of the Fund.

For his part, the Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, said the government would continue to invest in providing the needed infrastructure for educational development.

He said the GETFund remained an important funding agency for the provision of infrastructure   within the education eco-chamber.

He commended the organisers of the forum and urged all the participants to take active interest and contribute towards enhancing operations of the fund.
