‘Field of Play’ TV show launched

As part of efforts to improve patronage of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), a new television show, ‘Field of Play’ has been launched in Accra.

The show, focused on the GPL, would feature in-depth interviews, personality profiles and behind the scenes experiences in a bid to bring back the love for the local league.

It would also provide fans access to the league and players, highlight the beauty and unity of soccer, and how the GPL can feed the Black Stars with quality players.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Media53, organisers of the show, Mr Gideon Eli Tettey Doamekpor said, the event would travel the length and breadth of the country, telling stories of clubs, players, local leagues, cup games and Continental/FA Cups won.

“Barely four weeks of airing the show on Joy Prime, GhOne, and eTV, we are confident our league is becoming more attractive and interactive. We’re glad to be on course with the positive feedback received,” he stated.

The CEO expressed appreciation to Telesol Ghana limited and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for coming on-board to bring the ‘Field Of Play’ closer to every Ghanaian.
