The Tepa Police have mounted a search for a 45-year-old farmer, who allegedly shot dead his friend, accusing him of having sex with his wife, at Tepa-Mabang in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Suspect, Akwasi Noshi, was said to have invited, Yaw Saahene, also known as Buffalo, to his house, where he shot him dead, and fled.
A source at the Tepa Police Station confirmed the incident that took place in the late hours of Monday.
Madam Abena, the wife of the suspect, alleged that his husband (suspect) had been accusing her of having secret love affair with Saahene.
She said the husband invited Saahene to the house for a discussion, but instead kill the victim.
“Immediately Saahene entered the house, Akwasi Noshi gunned him down and took to his heels after committing the act”, she alleged.
The body of Saahene has been deposited at the morgue at Tepa Government Hospital.
According to the police source the wife was invited for information and had been released.
