Enchi College of Education matriculates 350 students

The Enchi College of Education in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North Region has held its 15th matriculation for a total of 350 students.

Mr Philip Ntaah, Principal of the College said the College received a total of 1,300 applications for the 2018/2019 academic year but only 350 students were considered to pursue a four-year Bachelor of Education Degree Programme.

The figure comprise of 180 men and 170 females.

The Principal indicated that all the applicants qualified so it behoved on the students to appreciate the offer and asked them to take their studies seriously and avoid truancy.

Mr Ntaah commend the Aowin Municipal Assembly for the provision of technical support as well as equipment for the construction of the college’s sports field, which he said was progressing steadily and called on corporate organisations to come to the aid of the school in other areas.

The Principal called on the government to help construct the roads and pavement on the campus and expand accommodation facilities to accommodate the level 300 students for next year to improve upon the status of the college.

He reminded the matriculants to be guided by their moral values and asked them to take all quizzes, assignments and examinations seriously.
