Employees of UT Properties give to Christ Faith Home

Employees of UT Properties, a real estate company, last Friday, donated assorted items and an undisclosed amount of cash to the Christ Faith Home, an orphanage at Frafraha, in Accra, as part of their corporate social responsibility.

The items included electric bulbs, two boxes of exercise books, stationery, a bag of rice, toiletries, carton of tin milk, two boxes of indomie and washing powder.

Presenting the items, the Managing Director of UT Properties, Naomi Effah, said the purpose of the donation was to impact and affect change in communities around them.

She said her outfit was committed to giving back to the society while supporting the needy, adding that “our vision is to enrich lives through strong family bonding and to offer a deep sense of communal living with respect for the destitute”.

According to Mrs Effah, the donation was a tradition of the employees, who contribute to support the needy yearly.

She explained that the employees of the company support the less privileged in the country, because “we believe it serves as a major mood booster, thereby making us feel happier and more fulfilled”.

Mrs Effah said the gesture also strengthens and drives the values and principles of the company, knowing that they have the power to improve lives of others.

She said her outfit would continue to support the needy and was looking forward for more engagements with the home in the near future.

The caretaker of the orphanage, Abraham Danso, who received the items on behalf of the school said, the gesture was timely because they were the things needed for the upkeep of the children.

He promised to the use the items judiciously and ensure that the children benefit from it.

Mr Danso thanked UT Properties for the donation and urged them to continue to support the orphanage.
