Emmanuel FC, Hope for Future in Anagblah Cup semis

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Kingson will lead his Emmanuel FC side into the semi-finals of the on-going Jordan Anagblah Memorial Cup tournament today against Hope for Future FC at the Nungua Town Park.

The Teshie side has produced some delightful performances including the hard fought 2-1 away win over Bless Hand of God (BHOG) FC in the quarter-finals.

Ahead of the game, Kingson has assured the supporters of the club of passage to the finals and has urged them to attend in their numbers.

In Christian Bortier Borlabi, Ernest Adiwoh and Benjamin Malik Shaibu, Emmanuel FC boast of a deadly trio capable of unsettling any side.

In the other semi-final game, Patron SC will engage Police Nationals.

Having beaten highly fancied Charity Stars 3-1 in the quarter finals, Police Nationals would go into the game knowing that with a little effort they could be playing for the trophy.

No one gave them a dog chance to make it through the group stage but the determination of the technical team and the playing body has seen them reach this stage.

The tournament, put together by Friends of Jordan Anagblah and sponsored by Nii Cudjoe & Associates, will have the ultimate winners take home a trophy, jerseys, 10 balls plus cash prize; runner up will receive a set of Jersey, five balls plus cash prize with the two losing semi-finalists walking away with a set of Jersey each, two balls plus cash prizes.

The finals would take place at the El Wak Stadium on Saturday May 18.
