Christians have been admonished to dress properly and modestly in order to become worthy of emulations to children, who are the future leaders of the country.
Very Rev. Dr William Sarpong, the Principal, Evangelium School of Theology and Ministries (ESOTAM), reechoed this on last Saturday at the 10th Graduation and Ordination service of the school at Tepa, in the Ashanti Region.
He noted that dressing properly commanded the respect of people around you, made you an agent of change to shabby dressing and also glorified God.
The Principal indicated that the students were taught topics namely homiletic, church administration, pastoral care, lifestyle and counselling, soul – winning, mission work, discipleship and eschatology.
Others were pastoral officiating, hermeneutics, Bible knowledge, Pneumatics, Christian leadership, Christology, ministerial ethics and demonology.
Dr Sarpong said the graduands were awarded with Diploma in Theology, certificate of ordination and an international ministerial license, adding that the best student for the academic year was specially awarded by the school.
He noted that ESOTAM, which was established in 2013 and affiliated to the Apostolic Network of Africa, Christ Bible College and the Early Church House, had produced fearless, credible and disciplined church workers.
“The mission of the school was to train competent church workers who will excel in spiritual, intellectual and educational capacities, for the total growth of the body of Jesus Christ,” Dr Sarpong said.
The Principal urged the graduands, Rev Kwaku Aboagye, Prophet Sumaila Abdulai and Evangelist David Adu Gyamfi to live Godly life worthy of copying in all spheres of society, to glorify God.
Dr Sarpong charged the graduated pastors to live above fear, fake Christian life, intimidation, destructive criticisms and personal weakness among other hindrances saying that “God is with you always.”
He appealed to donors in the country and abroad to support the construction of the school’s faculties and other meeting places, adding that together we can build God’s kingdom.
