Dr Ayi-Bonte inducted into Hall of Fame

The Global Executive Institute in association with the United Clergy International Association has inducted Nii Dr Ayi-Bonte II into its Hall of Fame award category, during its Global Achievers Leadership Awards ceremony in Accra.

In all, 12 business executives, political leaders, clergymen and chiefs received various leadership awards under the theme, ‘Making a difference in leadership for your country and humanity’.

Among the political personalities who received the awards were George Andah, Deputy Minister of Communication who received the Dr Lanz Outstanding Service Award, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, Deputy Minister for Transport received Excellence in Leadership Award, Freda Prempeh, Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection received the F.F. Orlando Spirit of Service Award, and Inusah Fuseini, Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency took the Crystal Leadership Award.

Receiving his award, Nii Dr Ayi Bonte commended the organisers for recognising his work as a traditional leader, adding that, it was the second recognition after being honoured with an honorary doctorate few months back.

He said the award was recognition of work the traditional leadership were doing within their communities, adding that, the award would spur him on to do greater work for his community in particular and the country generally.

Nii Dr Ayi-Bonte said he shared the honours with all the traditional leaders at the Ga Traditional Council and the people of Gbese saying, “I will continue to promote the leadership virtues to transform the Ga State.”

Professor Emmanuel Gyau Lanz, the Chief Executive Officer of Global Executive Institute commended the awardees for their immense contribution to society.

He said the recognition was to inspire the awardees to become aware of their contribution to society in order to endeavour to do more work to help with development and transformation of humanity across the globe.
