DOL: Heart of Lions, Volta Rangers clash in Volta derby

The Division One League (DOL) enters week four today with the Volta derby involving Heart of Lions and Volta Rangers as the biggest attraction for the weekend’s round of matches.

The Kpando Stadium will tomorrow host the hot clash between Heart of Lions Volta Rangers on match day four of the Division One League in Zone 3.

Heart of Lion are undefeated so far, recording two victories and a draw after three games.

They are tipped to bounce back from a disappointing 1-1 stalemate with Mighty Jets last weekend to beat their regional foes tomorrow.

The former Premier League campaigners under new gaffer, Fatawu Salifu, have been a delight to watch but will have to defy the odds to register their supremacy over the debutants, who have replicated similar form with two wins and a draw.

Today at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, hosts Na God will need nothing but a win against Krystal Palace after two straight defeats to Volta Rangers and Attram de Visser.

Another former Premier League candidate, Liberty Professionals will battle Nania FC at the Fred Crenstil Park today while A5 Rences welcome Uncle ‘T’ United to the Tema Sports Stadium the same day.

Winless Tema Youth will be in search of their first win when they host Attram De Visser at the Tema Sports Stadium tomorrow; Susubiri Vision will play as guest to Susubiribi; Sempi face Tudu Mighty Jets while Golden Kick clash with Akatsi All Stars.

In Zone 2, Future Stars will play as visitors to Swedru All Blacks at the Swedru Park tomorrow. With two wins and a draw, Future Stars will aim to continue with their good run.

Pacific Heroes will face NzemaKotoko at the EjisuOkese Park today with New Edubiase and Nations battling it out at the Len Clay Stadium on the same day.

Tomorrow, Dwarfs will welcome Kenpong Academy to the Robert Mensah Stadium while WAFA take on Basake Holy Star at GomoaFetteh.

The action continues tomorrow in Zone 1 when in-form Young Apostles battle it out with Baffour Soccer Academy in a tough contest at the Sunyani Coronation Park.

With a perfect record of three wins, Young Apostles will be out to maintain their spot on the league log with another five star performance while the latter aim to halt their run.

The battle between Maana and Steadfast will be a highly contested one at the Malik Jabir Stadium today while Eleven Wonders host WA Yaasin Juniors on the same day.

Debibi United will square off with Kassena Nan-Kana just as KumbungBinbiem welcome WA Suntaa SC in a cagey encounter.

In other fixtures, Nkoranza Warriors will square off with Berekum Chelsea while Unity takes on TanoBofoakwa and B.A. United face Mighty Royals.
