Coach Boadu grabs a bride

Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu on Saturday tied the knot with his fiancée Felicia Apimpata.

The wedding ceremony took place at the Asokwa Pentecost International Worship Church in Kumasi.

The ceremony which was rescheduled because of the club’s campaign in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) attracted a number of the club’s officials with his midfielder, Emmanuel Nettey as the Bestman and Assistant Coaches Hamza Obeng, Eric Amponsah and player Caleb Amankwah as grooms men.

The packed auditorium was draped in Hearts colours with the hundreds of Phobian faithfuls singing the club’s songs that brought the coach and his bride entertaining the audience with some dance moves.

Also in attendance were Board Member Alhaji Akambi, Chairman of the National Chapters Committee Elvis Herman-Hesse Jnr and Regional Chapters Committee chairpersons, football administrators as well as coaches and players from other clubs.

Coach Boadu joined Hearts in March and guided the club to win the League and FA Cup to book a slot for Africa.
