Cherry Field Montessori School holds career day celebration

Students of Cherry Field Montessori School have learnt about different professions and opportunities existing in the various professions in Ghana and the Diaspora in line with their academic pursuits.

This came to light during the 3rd edition of career day celebration organised by management of Cherry field Montessori School in Accra.

The various professions  exhibited by the students comprises a Teacher, Pastor, Prophetess, Banker/Teller, a Journalist, Nurse, Midwife, Surgeon or Doctor, Security Service, Lawyer, Engineer, Farmer, Referee, Footballer, and Choreographer.

In a welcome address, the Chief Executive Office of Cherry field Montessori School, Mrs Magdalene Dzifa Adzani-Atiase said the carrier day celebration creates awareness about what the pupils might want to do with their lives in the future.

The carrier day according to Mrs Magdalene Dzifa also served as motivation for students to learn hard and encourage them to stay in school.

Creativity and innovation she mentioned were very critical and therefore urged them to pay critical attention to visual arts and home economics when in school.

“Let’s endeavour to deduce our profession from our talents or hobbies, it makes us develop passion for the job,” she said.

She however said every profession was important and lucrative, but added that “the onus lies on everyone to work hard.”
