Bono NPP campaign team tasked to work in decorous manner

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has tasked the region’s campaign team to work hard in a decorous manner to help retain power for the party in the December 7 general election.

According to him, the campaign team members should focus and project visionary policies undertaken by the government to enable Ghanaians better appreciate what the President Akufo-Addo administration has done within the period to ensure victory come December.

Mr Baffoe was speaking at the Bono regional NPP inauguration ceremony for  its 2020 campaign committee in Sunyani.

The inauguration which was attended by NPP party faithful from the national and regional levels saw the 2nd National Vice Chairman of the party, Mr Frederick Fredua Antoh swore in a 31-member campaign team for Bono.

Later in an interview, the chairman of the committee, Kwame Baffoe, disclosed that the team was poised for victory in the December 7 general election, adding that, their priority would retain all the 11 parliamentary seats and win Banda, the only orphaned constituency in the region.

The Bono Regional Minister, Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson, who is part of the team, condemned the violence that marred the voter registration in Banda and Nkrankwanta.

She called on Ghanaians, especially the youth to desist from activities that could lead to violence during and after the elections.
The Bono Regional NPP campaign team has been mandated to ensure the party wins both the presidential and parliamentary contest in the elections.

A Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen urged the campaign team to avoid being complacent, explaining it would be disastrous to the party.

He also urged the members to be wary of the opposition National Democratic Congress since they are committed in going all out to sure victory in December  general election.

He therefore urged NPP supporters not to relent in their campaign for victory.
