Black Meteors lose to South Korea again

The Black Meteors of Ghana lost 2-1 to South Korea yesterday, to end their chain of defeats in the hands of the Asians in recent international friendly matches.

Jeong Woo Yeoug gave South Korea the lead in the 41st minute after the Meteors backline was broken.

They, however, managed to get the equaliser through Joselpho Barnes in the 50th but ended up surrendering the lead to the South Koreans in the dying minutes of the game.

The result meant the Meteors ended their double-legged encounters with the Asians without a win.

The Meteors started their campaign with a 6-0 walloping by Japan before reducing the humiliation to 4-0 in the second game.

They also suffered 3-1 in the hands of yesterday’s opponents in their first encounter making it an aggregate of 15-2.

It was, however, an improved performance from the Meteors in yesterday’s game as they matched their hosts boot for boot.
