Bishop Atormu: Divisive politics bane on nat’l devt

The founder and leader of Greater Power and Fire Ministry, Bishop Kwesi Atormu, has expressed concern about divisive party politics which is impacting negatively on the nation’s rapid growth, development and national cohesion.

“Every facet of life is bedevilled with party politics, we are dividing the nation on party bases. This is dangerous for the country, our leaders have to come together for a peaceful and united nation as has been known for,” he noted.

In a sermon at the ordination of six ministers of the Gospel at Ashaiman Zenu, in the Greater Accra Region, Bishop Atormu charged the men of God to respect and hold the call to duty in the kingdom business in high esteem.

“We are the ambassadors of God, we must conduct our daily duty conscious of who we are and who we represent, the Almighty God, whatever we do has the tendencies of building lives or discouraging people from seeking God.

“I also caution the newly ordained ministers of the gospel that we have dogs, cats, snakes and all forms of animals in the church in the forms of human beings, if you don’t have any good behaviour and you undertake anointing services that is fake, being a pastor is a journey that demands obedience and patience, not boasting of the material possessions,” Bishop Atormu stressed. -GNA
