The 1991 year group of Awudome Senior High School (AWUSCO) in collaboration with the school management has redesigned the entrance of the school.
At a brief ceremony last Saturday, president of the year group, Mr Mawuli Dzamefe said that after assuming office, he and his executives paid a familiarisation visit to the school and the headmaster sold the gateway idea to them.
He assured the headmaster that the entrance would be redesigned to give a facelift befitting the status of the school.
He stated that members of the group and other benevolent friends contributed towards the construction of the new school gate.
Mr Dzemefe thanked the headmaster, teaching and non-teaching staff and all who contributed towards the construction of the school gate.
The headmaster of the school, Mr Amu Emmanuel Komla urged the group not to abandon the school after the project but should continue to support and take special interest in the affairs of the school.
“These days, it is old students who are developing schools in Ghana,” he added.
He thanked the Group for the completion of the project, saying that the year group mobilised resources and came to the site after he sold the gateway idea to them.
