Away Bus premieres on Saturday

PThe movie which starred many hilarious and controversial actors and actresses in the country’s movie industry, would be premiered concurrently at the Accra Mall and the West Hills Mall.

Away Bus, starred the likes of, Kalybos, Agya Koo, Fella Makafui, Abeiku Santana, Yaw Dabo, Akuapem Poloo, MikkiOseiBerko, Omar Krupp, Priscilla Opoku-Agyemang(Ahouf3 Patri), Emelia Brobbey, Kalsoume Sinare, Roselyn Ngissah and Salma Mumin.

Speaking to The Spectator, Peter Sedufia, of Old Films told the paper, the red carpet for cast and crew, would be held at the West Hills Mall, near Weija, with the first and second shows happening at 7pm and 9pm respectively.

He expressed his appreciation to all the cast for their commitment and hard work which made them meet production deadline, adding that the team was ready for the premiere.

Mr Sedufia added that after the premiere on Saturday, there would be a regional tour in the remaining 15 regions in the country.

That notwithstanding, the movie would be continuously be screened in various cinemas across the country for movie lovers to have their day.

The movie blended actors from different backgrounds to appeal to audience of diverse orientation.

Away bus story is centred on two sisters, Bibi and Kiki, who have to raise twenty thousand Ghana cedis within 12hours for an emergency surgery to save their dying mother.

When all attempts to get help from family and friends failed, they settled on highway robbery to be able to raise the funds.

Unfortunately, after they succeeded at the robbery and gathered enough funds for the robbery, a different team of armed robbers showed up at the scene to rob them of everything they had gathered.
