Arsenal face in-form Everton at Goodison

ARSENAL are now in pole position to finish in the top four this season after a run of seven wins in their previous nine.

However, their away form continues to hinder, winning just five of 14 on the road, and will know Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United will pounce on any slip up.

Everton, who fancy themselves as top-six gatecrashers, and potentially even the top four, sit 10th after recording back-to-back wins for only the second time this season and will be up for proving their credentials against the Gunners.

Yerry Mina is Everton only absentee as the defender continues to struggle with a thigh injury.

Arsenal will be without Lucas Torreira, who is serving a ban and joins injury absentees Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck on the sidelines.

Everton have hit a bit of form of late with two impressive victories, over Chelsea and away at West Ham, and are capable of another tomorrow.

However, this Arsenal team have far more resilience than previous years and will be afforded opportunities in front of goal.

Everton have their work cut out if they are to overturn a recent poor record against Arsenal.

The Toffees have lost their last four meetings with the Gunners, conceding 15 in the process. They have won just two in the last 12 years.

Indeed, Arsenal are enjoying a rich vein of form right now that has put them firmly in contention for the top four place but they travel to Goodison to face an in-form Everton side. Marco Silva’s men have raised their game in the last couple of weeks and they are capable of taking at least a point.
