In-form Accra Lions will face Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium in a Matchday 21 fixture of the betPawa Premier League.
Dreams FC drew their week 20 game at home against Karela United whiles Accra Lions recorded 1-0 victory against Tamale City at the Aliu Mahama stadium in Tamale.
Accra Lions are second on the League table behind leaders Aduana FC having gone four games without defeat and unbeaten in the second round with two consecutive away wins and one draw.
Accra Lions forward Abass Samari Salifu who has scored eight goals in the ongoing campaign, would lead the roaring party today.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko would also expect youngster Dominic Amponsah to come to the party after scoring two goals in his last two appearances on the road.
Amponsah fired home the winner at Karela United and also netted the lone goal in the game against Tamale City last Sunday. Others top performers at his disposal include, Salifu Apiiga and Dominic Nsobila, Evans Ampofo and Shawkan Mohammed.
Dreams FC have yet to win a match since February 19, when they beat Bibiani GoldStars 1-0 at the Theatre of Dreams – Dawu.
The ‘Still Believe’ lads are 10th on the table with 27 points – a record of one win, one draw and one defeat in their last three games in the second round of the betPawa Premier League.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito expects the likes of Ishmael Dede, Gael Avocevou, Sylvester Simba, Collins Boah and Ebenezer Adade to play well against Accra Lions FC today.
