Aba Dadzie retained as NDC US chapter chairperson

The United States of America (USA) chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ended its quadrennial Chapter Conference last weekend in Houston, Texas with the re-election of Madam Vivian Aba Dadzie as chairperson.

The conference has been recorded as one of the most successful conferences organised by the Chapter in recent times.

Other officers were also elected for various positions during the conference.

Briefing the Ghanaian Times in a telephone interview about the elections and objectives of the newly elected persons, the retained chairperson, Madam Dadzie described the elections as a smooth and transparent one.

She said the group would champion diligence and discipline in its affairs, including supporting the NDC in all activities geared towards winning the next general elections.

Madam Vivian Aba Dadzie called for unity and indicated that there was no winner or loser in the election, saying the ultimate winner was the NDC.

“We are happy the elections were very peaceful. Let us congratulate and encourage each other. Despite the fact some lost their positions, we should remain united to push the agenda of the NDC,” she added.

She also assured of her readiness to relentlessly serve the NDC as the Chairperson of the USA Chapter of the party, adding that the mandate of the political party could easily be realised with determination and hardwork.

Madam Dadzie also called for the support of all NDC party members and well meaning Ghanaians,”As the NDC prepares to win the next general elections.”

In furtherance, she revealed that the occasion was graced by dignitaries from the NDC Headquarters in Accra, including Mr Kofi Attor, National Vice Chairman; Mr Prosper DK Bani, Former Chief of Staff and the former Minister for the Interior, Madam Alice Boon among others, and expressed gratitude to them for partaking in the event despite their busy schedules.
