On Tuesday, July 26, accused armed with clubs attacked three teachers of the school, and ordered one of them to kneel down as punishment for accusing them of supplying drugs to Junior High School (JHS) students.

The teachers had detected the use of drugs, including Diazepam, among students of the Ayinasin Methodist JHS.

Investigations revealed a student, whose uncle owns a Chemical Shop in the community, supplied drugs to his JHS colleagues.

An emergency Parents-Teacher-Association (PTA) meeting to deal with matters affecting the school, was disrupted by the accused and others at large.

The case was reported to the police, leading to the arrest of the suspects for investigations.

They have all been freed after their relatives paid their penalties.
