Lord’s Pentecostal Church International opens Kasoa branch

The Lord’s Pentecostal Church International (TLPCI) last Saturday inaugurated its Kasoa branch at Nyanyano in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.

The event brought together members of TLPCI from across the country to witness the grand opening of the 1,800 capacity church auditorium.

Christened, “Abundant Grace Centre”, the edifice would serve as a place of worship for persons within the Kasoa enclave and beyond.

The opening was characterised by a colourful display of choreography, amidst song ministration by the church choir and other music groups.

Inaugurating the building, General Overseer of TLPCI, Apostle Richard Buafor, expressed gratitude to God for providing the resources for the construction of the edifice, and urged members to practise maintenance of the building.

He said, “This is the dwelling place of the Lord and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it. Let us all ensure we worship God piously here and live lives that speak good of us and God almighty.”

In a sermon, the General Overseer underscored the need for Christians to commit their ways into the hands of God at all times, adding that living in the consciousness of God’s presence must be the priority of every Christian.

Apostle Buafor said, “You are the temple of the Lord, love Jesus, keep his words and obey his commandments and be confident of the fact that God is with you at all times.”

In furtherance, he urged the youth to desist from engaging in negative activities and rely on only God to open doors for them.

Touching on the need for peaceful coexistence among the populace during and after next year’s general elections, the General Overseer indicated that Ghana was a beacon of hope; therefore, the public should continue to maintain their peaceful nature for a successful election, devoid of blood shedding.

On his part, resident pastor of the newly constructed church, Prophet David Agyemang Badu, expressed delight at the opening of the church, and assured that it would serve the very purpose for which it was established.
