Interplast adjudged best performer in local manufacturing

Interplast Limited, a leading producer of HDPE pressure pipes and other manufacturing accessories, has been adjudged the best performer in local manufacturing of mining inputs at the Ghana Mining and Industry Awards held in Accra.

The 5th Ghana Mining and Industry Awards organised by the Ghana Chamber of Mines (GCM) to honour excellence in the mining industry was on the theme “Honouring Commitment to Excellence in Ghana’s Mining Industry.”

Interplast Limited produces mining inputs such as pipes to propel the development of the mining industry.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO), Interplast Limited, Sivnesh Kumar Re who received the award commended the GCM for the honour done the company.

He said the award was in recognition of the good work and the role the company was playing to promote the mining industry.

Mr Re pledged that the company would not rest on its oars but continue to innovate and produce products that would help promote the mining industry in particular and the economy as a whole.

“We at Interplast are excited about this award. We believe the award is a testament to our commitment to quality and innovation and we are proud of it.  We will continue to develop quality products that support the growth of the mining industry in particular and the economy as a whole,” the COO said.

The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh in a speech read on his behalf commended players in the mining industry for their contribution to national development, saying the industry contributed greatly to the country’s tax revenue.
