GOIL launches 2019 ‘Efie Ne Fie’ promotion

GOIL has launched the 2019 edition of its ‘Efie ne Fie’ promotion to reward customers for staying loyal to the brand.

The ceremony also witnessed the re-opening of the newly refurbished North Legon Service station at Haatso, near Accra.

The Acting Managing Director and Group CEO of GOIL Company Limited, Mr Kwame Osei-Prempeh, speaking at the event recounted the achievements chalked over the past year.

 Mr Osei Prempeh particularly mentioned the conferment of the 2018 CIMG ‘Hall of Fame Petroleum Company’ and the ‘Customer-Oriented Company’ of the year 2018 honours on GOIL saying it was ample proof the company was doing the right things in terms of quality to meet the expectation of customers.

The promotion, which begins on November 15, 2019, nationwide at the company’s over 390 stations is expected to end in January 2020.

Mr Kwamena Bartels, who is the chairman of the Board of GOIL reiterated  GOIL’s leadership position, promising it would set the best example in the country and called on all  drivers, to take advantage of this year’s promotion.

Explaining the mechanics of the promotion, the Head of Fuels Marketing, Mr. Marcus Deo Dake said, the promotion will benefit Private and Commercial car drivers. Drivers who buy fuel worth GH₵100 or more and GH₵30 in the case of motorbike users, will receive a scratch card with hidden PIN.”

 “The driver will scratch and dial *161*4645# and send. An alpha numeric PIN will then be revealed, with USSD feedback on PIN entered; An SMS notification of reward will be given instantly”. Alternatively, beneficiaries can also download “GOIL Promo” from App store, sign up with a phone number and receive a one time activation code and follow the instructions that follow to benefit from their rewards,” he said.

Apart from Instant rewards, Ultimate Rewards will be claimed from accrued points at the end of the month. Tantalising prizes of airtime worth 1,000, 500 and 300 cedis worth of fuel on GOCARDS are on offer every month.  Some of the instant rewards also include airtime, credited directly on phones directly and GOIL branded items like face towels umbrellas and T-shirts.

Ultimate reward winners will also have associated benefits of belonging to the membership of the GOIL Family Club. Over 700 thousand instant rewards will be given out while 2500 drivers will also benefit from Ultimate rewards.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies, Kwaku Agyeman Duah, commended GOIL for always raising the standards and setting the pace in the industry. He congratulated GOIL for putting up an impressive station saying GOIL has become a role model. He exhorted Ghanaians to patronize their own.
