The death is reported of Mr Gideon Kofi Ackumey (alias Bobby Young), formerly of the Bank of Ghana on Friday November 8, 2019 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. He was 66
He was the father of Raymond Ackumey, a sports journalist with the New Times Corporation (NTC), and brother of Patience Ackumey formerly of GCB Bank, Emmanuel Billy Bones Ackumey, Grace Outreach Church, Osu and Mary Ackumey.
He was the husband of Augustina Mintah formerly of the Bank of Ghana.
Funeral arrangements would be announced later.
