Youth urged to acquire leadership skills

J.D Jake with DuncanINTERNATIONAL Evangelist and Senior Pastor of Potters House, Bishop TD Jakes has stressed the need for the youth to acquire leadership qualities to enable them take their rightful positions in society, and the kingdom of God.

Effective and efficient leadership, according to the Bishop, is critical for national development.

Bishop Jakes made the call in Accra on Tuesday, upon arrival for the this year’s Impact 2014 Conference organised by the Action Chapel International on the theme ‘Thy Kingdom Come.

He is the Star preacher for the conference hosted by Archbishop Duncan-Williams and expected to present live changing messages to the people of Ghana, with emphasis on the youth

Bishop Jakes expressed his happiness with the progresses made by the churches in Ghana.

He asked the country to identify ways of promoting national development.

“Every country must recognise that it is interdependent and needs other countries to survive, hence the need for Ghana to develop a strategy which includes the ability to connect easily with other countries” Bishop Jakes stressed.

He advised leaders of the country to initiate strategies for national development.
