TOGBE Aklamanu Kwadzode IV, Dufia of Akoefe-Avenui, in the Ho municipality, has entreated the youth to stay away from narcotic drugs and rather study and train diligently to acquire decent careers and skills.
He said what the country needed now most was a strong human resource base to execute its developmental agenda.
Togbe Kwadzode was speaking at a durbar at Akoefe-Avenui last week Saturday to mark the 40th anniversary of his ascension onto the throne.
The durbar, which coincided with the Easter celebration, was attended by various chiefs from the Asogli traditional area.
Togbe Kwadzode pointed out that the development plans of communities could not be implemented with money alone, but more efficiently, with skills, ideas and the requisite manpower support.
Furthermore, he said, those skills and ideas bore fruits rapidly in an environment of peace and unity.
