Organised by Blue Dreams Network in collaboration with young sportsmen and women in the country mostly at the tertiary level, the event is aimed at promoting peace and unity among the youth ahead of the elections.

The event under the theme, “Peace, a necessity for nation building’’ will be held at Kumasi on September 24, Cape Coast on October 16 while the Accra and Tamale editions would be held on October 29 and November 19 respectively.

Speaking at the launch of the event, Public Relations Officer of Blue Dreams Network, Edmund Kwabena Ankobea, said it was important for the youth to embrace peace and urged them to get involved in the walk.

The event is designed to encourage large youth participation in nation building and also to give a new meaning to the election year by creating a platform for people to interact as they walk and promote peace.

Mr. Christian Boakye who chaired the launch also explained that, the event was opened to all and would employ all the political parties to come together and participate in it.
