It was a night of bliss and an atmosphere of praise and worship last Sunday at the eighth edition of Praise Reloaded Worship Concert held at the Perez Dome, Accra.
The event, christened “Wind of Revival” which had consistently attracted thousands of patrons from the West African sub-region, USA, Canada, UK and across the world, this year did not fail to repeat history.
Saints and sinners were not only served with good music but as well as introduced to soothing songs from the camp of Joe Mettle, the spear header and supporting artists including KODA, Ceecy Twum, Cwesi Oteng and America born worshipper, Jonathan Nelson.
Others were Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye, Luigi Maclean, Carl Clottey who were on top of their game to bring revival among patrons.
The live DVD recording which is his fifth public release had songs including “Pentecost”, “Hide me” and “Halleluyah” which featured American gospel singer, Jonathan Nelson backed by the scintillating harmonious, Love Gift band.
Praise Reloaded, which started seven years ago is based on Acts 2:1-4 and previous editions had featured gospel musicians from Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa among other countries.
Following the release of his previous album ‘God of Miracles’ in 2018, over the years, Joe Mettle has consistently produced heart-warming worship melodies, becoming one of the most recognised gospel musicians of our time.
The annual Praize Reloaded Concert is praising God in spite of pain, thanking God during trials, trusting Him when tempted, surrendering when suffering and loving Him through all that life may bring. It features some of the best-known musical talents in recent time.
The event, which debuted in October 2012, is rapidly gaining momentum at its second outing and this year is shall definitely be bigger. People walked away encouraged, uplifted and empowered. Perfecting Faith Church was filled to capacity and no one left disappointed; the evening brought joy, laughter and tears.
