Vote Wisely: NDC Aspirant Cautions

An aspiring propaganda secretary for Ablekuma West Constituency of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Ekow Oduro Mensah, has asked delegates to vote wisely in the upcoming   constituency executi-ves election.

He said delegates should elect committed and dedicated executives who would use their positions to help the party retain power in 2016 and not those who think of their parochial interest.

Mr. Mensah stated this yesterday in Accra when he toured some constituencies to outline his visions and called for support as the constituency elects it’s new executive slated for next month.

“We must vote for committed and self dedicated executives who would work hard to promote the vision and agenda of the party.  We should know that the progress of the party depends on those we elected into power,” he stated.

He stressed the need for members of the constituency to be united, saying, “we must see ourselves as a family and not to allow this elections to create divisions among us.”

He noted that, although, the Ablekuma West constituency had been indentified as one of the strong holds of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), he was capable of  making the constituency,  a strong hold of the NDC.

“We need dedicated leaders to work for the party in this constituency so that we can have a Member of Parliament on the ticket of the NDC. That is why I am calling for your support,” he said.

He urged delegates to ensure that their activities did not tarnish the image of the party as the constituency geared towards its election.
