UT Bank Organises Floats To Educate Public On Promotion

Esua-Mensah PixThe UT Bank has organised floats in Accra and other regions to educate the public on its newly launched ‘100 for 100,000 Promo’.

It was simultaneously held in the Ashanti, Eastern and Northern regions.

According to rules of the promotion, UT Bank customers would have to deposit GH¢100 into their accounts to enable them win prizes. However, customers could better their chances of winning by making more deposits.

The topmost and second prizes are GH¢100,000 and GH¢30,000 respectively, while the second runner takes home GH¢10,000. Other prizes include refrigerators, microwave ovens, mobile phones and television sets.

The promotion runs from this month to December and the draws will be held on January 7 next year, under the supervision of the National Lotteries Authority,

The Deputy Managing Director of the bank, Mrs. Pearl Entsua-Mensah said the promotion was aimed at developing a better relationship with their customers and urged all to develop the culture of saving.

The promotion, she said, was flexible and unique, and not targeted at the very rich but the ordinary people, in particular.

Mrs. Entsua-Mensah said rewarding loyal customers and winning more customers were key to the development of the bank, noting that research had revealed that about 70 per cent of Ghanaians were not bankable due to many reasons.

She said the bank had introduced a new product called ‘No wahala’ which does not require any documents from customers, who wanted to open accounts with them.
