Use ingenuity to transform Africa – Awuku advises youth

Sammi Awuku, the National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has admonished the African youth to take advantage of their talent, ingenuity and creativity to transform the continent.   “Let us take advantage of our talents, ingenuity and creativity to make our continent attractive to the rest of the world to invest since we have natural resources to create jobs and wealth,” he stressed.   Mr Awuku was engaging African youth at the maiden launch and a regional workshop of African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF) in Accra.   He urged the youth to re-write the African story to brighten their corner so that the continent is not perceived as a violent and war-torn continent through their talent, ingenuity and creativity.

Mr Awuku indicated that the youth must use such fora to provide opportunities and serve as a voice for the voiceless youth on the African continent to brighten every corner they found themselves, utilising their networking on the continent and other parts of the universe they found themselves to serve the interest of their respective countries and the African continent.

“I will urge all the participants to ride on their ingenuity and creativity to brighten every corner they find themselves and utilise their networks to serve the interest of the African continent and their respective countries whilst building their entrepreneurial abilities”, he advised.

“I am looking forward to cementing the many links we have identified between ASAF and the Youth Employment Agency to the benefit of our teeming youth and replicate it in other parts of Africa to synchronise youthful exuberance in leadership roles in transforming Africa.

“I applaud the organisers of such a wonderful forum for bringing the young visionary minds from the various countries on the African continent together to harness your potentials to put to good use the natural resources of the continent for future generations,” Mr Awuku intimated. -peacefmonline.com
