Upper East NPP Youth Demand Clean Campaign

paul afokoThe New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth in the Upper East Region have called on aspiring flagbearers of the party to conduct their   campaigns in a decent manner devoid of  personal attacks.

A statement issued by the group and signed by its spokesman, Mr. Agana Bawa Rashid, said comments made  by  Mr Alan Kyerematen recently and quoted in the media, ridiculed Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  and portrayed him as a bad candidate.

It called on aspirants to campaign vigorously instead of running down others, saying, “This will never help you. It will rather make you lose the election.”

The statement appealed to Mr. Kyerematen and other aspirants to concentrate on their campaigns by presenting themselves very well to the delegates.

It appealed to the National Executives of the party to call to order aspirants who attack the personality of others.
