Uganda Prepares To Face Stars

Ahead of their AFCON 2015 qualifying game against the Black Stars of Ghana, the Cranes of Uganda will engage the Menas of Niger in a friendly encounter on September 1.

The coach of Uganda, Milutin Sredojevic, named a strong side, a few days ago, ahead of the Ghana encounter which is scheduled for the September 5.

The Cranes of Uganda will be chasing a third win against the Black Stars.

They have won two out of the 10 matches played against the Black Stars.

Uganda have visited Ghana on five occasions but are yet to record a win against the Black Stars, having lost on three occasions and drawing twice.

The Cranes, who have pitched camp in Niger ahead of the game, will therefore be engaging the Menas to put their team in good shape ahead of the encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Milutin’s side have so far played three friendly matches, winning 1-0 against Seychelles, drawing against the Flames of Malawi and losing 2-1 to the Chipolopolos of Zambia.
