Top musicians for Ebony Reigns Memorial Concert

Some of the top Ghanaian musicians are set to thrill their fans in memory of the late Dancehall diva, ebony Reigns on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the West Hills Mall in Accra.

Death laid its icy hands on the fast-rising musician when she was killed in a fatal motor accident in the then Brong-Ahafo Region a year ago, thus cutting her dream of becoming a super star short.

Her death brought shock waves to the entire nation and as well left her teeming fans and other admirers in grief and pain.

And to assuage their pain and that of her family, the colleague musicians of Ebony Reign have decided to mount a show in her memory to prove that “though she is gone to eternity, her indelible foot prints are there for all to see.”

On the night, the Omo Ada hit maker, Medikal, the boss of the AMG Business, Criss Waddle, legendary musician, TiC, and fantastic duo, Dhope Nation, will be in their element on the big stage.

In addition, a diva, who symbolises another success story of RuffTwon Records within a short time, Wendy Shay, together with Feli Nuna, Edem, Koo Ntakra and many others, will take their turn to enthrall the gathering.

The event, is a partnership between her erstwhile record label, RuffTown, a new record label set up by her father, Bony To The World and Kri8 Concept.

The organisers told The Spectator, that the event was aimed at remembering the mind-blowing works of the late Ebony Reigns.

According to them all was set for the showdown on Friday, and urged all lovers of Ebony to be at the event in their numbers to make the occasion a memorable one.

They expressed gratitude for the coorporation and support received from musicians across the country.

Ebony Reigns, died in a gruesome road accident that occurred on February 8, 2018, when the singer and three other persons on board a Jeep with registration AS 497-16, travelling from Sunyani to Kumasi collided head-on with a VIP bus on Sunyani-Kumasi road.
