Tomato Prices Up ,Yam Down In Tamale

Tomato PixPrices of tomatoes (Paint container) have increased in price but the price of yam has dropped in the Tamale Metropolis last week as against the week before.

A painter container of tomatoes, which was sold the previous week at GH¢5.00 was sold for GH¢11.00 and three tubers of small size yam was reduced from GH¢10.00 to GH¢5.00.

Some of the market women explained that the reduction in prices of the yam had been as a result of the harvesting period and predicted a further reduction in prices.
