Work on the road infront of the New Times Corporation is progressing steadily.
The Times Road is part of the Kwame Nkrumah Flyover project being undertaken by a Brazilian firm, Queiroz Valvao, and is meant to help ease traffic congestion in one of the busiest areas of the capital city, Accra.
The three-interchange project, estimated to cost 74.8million Euros, is being financed with credit from the Brazilian government.
President Mahama cut the sod for work to begin on the project on October 2013. The first phase was inaugurated last August, and the remaining work is expected to be completed early next year.
It is expected to bring considerable relief to commuters and traders around the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
