Telecommunications giant, Tigo, has presented prizes to winners for the first monthly draw in the “Yensor Nkoaa” promotion with Xandra Kamel, an actress, winning the ultimate prize.
The actress took home a 10 KVA generator plant and GH¢500 fuel voucher at a ceremony which took place at the head office of the company in Accra.
Other winners who received power inverters each were Kwadwo Mensah, Alex Ohene, Isaac Amoquadoh, and Mustapha Alimatu, with others receiving rechargeable lamps.
The Product Brand Manager of Tigo, Aaron Eggley, in his address said, the network firm did a survey to be abreast with the needs of their customers in the wake of the energy crisis, hence, the “Yensor Nkoaa” promotion.
He added that in fulfilling their promise to customers, they have given out to hundreds of people across the country power generators, rechargeable lamps, power banks, airtime and fuel vouchers.
Mr. Eggley urged customers to always keep their phones active in meeting the requirements for the promotion.
Miss Kamel, in her appreciation, urged Tigo to continue to cater for the needs of their customers and charged other subscribers not to be left out of the promotion.
She also allayed fears of customers that the prizes were meant for some selected individuals.
