Three suspects arrested in connection with the Tuobodom shootings are to be arraigned in court soon.
Nana Kwadwo Tano Bosomfo, Amoako Stephen and Ibrahim Mumuni, have been charged with conspiracy to commit crime and murder.
Five others are in custody assisting in police investigations.
DCOP Maxwel Atingane, the Regional Police Commander, told The Ghanaian Times that though calm had returned to the area, the security forces were leaving nothing to chance.
He said currently, 112 police personnel drawn from the various police units and 30 military personnel were in the town to ensure security.
Five people were killed while eight others sustained injuries during the Tuobodom shootings last week.
