The Baby Nest crèche and nursery school at Dansoman in Accra has held its seventh graduation with a call on parents to actively collaborate with teachers towards the development of children.
Pupils from Nursery two and Kindergarten One graduated at the event which was characterised by performances by the children to the admiration of parents and guests.
The management of the school, which was established in 2005, believes active cooperation and support from parents remained vital in assisting teachers in working to ensure the effective development of children.
Mr Eben-Kay Hodo, a Director of the school, addressing the graduation ceremony, gave the assurance that the school was committed to its vision of providing quality early childhood development and care services for children in a hygienic, secure and baby friendly environment that promotes early learning experiences.
In addition, he said the school’s objective was to become one of the best and renowned crèches in Accra by producing very intelligent, smart and well-behaved children.
Regarding the development of the school, he noted that The Baby Nest is on an expansion drive and cited the recent official opening of its Legon branch at the University of Ghana, as part of the efforts to increase access to its facility.
It addition, he announced that the school was in the process of establishing crèche centres for corporate institutions.
He thanked the parents and all stakeholders for the support and cooperation over the year, and assured them of quality services for the benefit of children.
As part of the graduation, certificates, including I-Maths certificates were presented to the graduands while deserving graduating pupils were also honoured for excellence and good behaviour.
