TASCO gets boreholes from alumni

The 1990 alumni group of Tarkwa Senior High School (TASCO) in the Western region has donated two mechanized boreholes to the school towards improving water supply.

Presenting the water facilities which were drilled at the Boys’ and Girls’ dormitories, the President of the 1990 year group, Mr. Issah Salifu Taylor said the donation was to provide relief for the students who hitherto had to travel long distances to fetch water.

He said the members of the group contribute to fund the project to mark theirthe 25th anniversary after graduating from the school.

Mrs. Paulina Akosua Manu, headmistress of TASCO, thanked the group of the timely assistance, stressing that the role of old students in the development of the school remained critical.
