Takoradi GIMPA Holds Matriculation

GIMPANinety-seven fresh students have been admitted to the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Takoradi Campus to pursue various degree programmes.

The programmes include Bachelor of Science in business administration, human resource management, operations and supply chain management, procurement management, accounting, finance and marketing.

Prof. Philip Duku Osei, Deputy Rector of GIMPA, addressing the new students, congratulated them on their admission and reminded them of the challenging task ahead.

He urged them be committed and innovative in their learning, and assured them of the fullest support of the management of the school to ensure their successful completion of their programmes.

He said GIMPA remained focused as a centre of excellence in offering quality advanced training towards effective and efficient management, leadership and governance in Africa, and urged the students to be motivated by the successes of GIMPA.

He gave the assurance that the new campus would be equipped with adequate facilities to enable it operate effectively for the benefit of the students.

“As a new campus, there are bound to be challenges, but that will soon be over as we put in intensify our efforts to support you,” he said.
