Tagoe sure of victory over Tanzanian rival

If training and confidence is anything to go by, then one of Ghana’s finest boxers, Emmanuel Tagoe is on his way for another electrifying display come December 26.

When Times Sports caught up with the boxer during his training session at the Seconds Out Gym in Accra on Wednesday, the boxer was beaming with confidence and has assured boxing lovers of nothing short of a memorable spectacle of boxing.

The boxer has disclosed that his current training regimen is the toughest he has gone through in his boxing career.

With that, he said he would give his Tanzania opponent Sadiki Momba a beating of his life and urged boxing lover not to miss the bout.

“Boxing lovers are about seeing something they have not seen before and it will be awkward for anyone to decide not to honor the bout,” he stated.

He added that, Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan will be part of the whole showdown as he would be his head coach for the night.

The “Game Boy” stressed that, Gyan has a great passion for boxing and has acquired some skills in the sport which he would put into bare to help him (tagoe) win his bout.

Tagoe therefore urged boxing lovers to troop to the Accra Sports Stadium to witness the event as it would be mind blowing.

The bout which is under the auspices of BabyJet Boxing Promotions and dubbed “who rules the ring,” would also witness some interesting bouts as some other talented boxers in the country would be engaged.

Tagoe goes into the bout with a record of 32 wins out of 33 fights while Momba have 18 wins out of 25 fights with five defeats.
